Apostrophes
This set features 32 Apostrophes quiz cards to practice using apostrophes and master contractions and possessive nouns. To play, every student receives an Apostrophes quiz card. Students then pair up with a classmate to quiz each other. For example, one student has a quiz card with a sentence that has the word “Lets” underlined. The student being quizzed must decide where to put the apostrophe in the word, as well as identify whether it is a contraction or possessive noun. After quizzing both ways, coaching or praising, they trade cards and set off to quiz a new classmate with their new card. The repeated practice boosts retention of the content. Memorizing important information and concepts has never been so fun! Cards can also be used for other Kagan Structures including Fan-N-Pick, RallyQuiz, and Showdown. Instructions provided.
