Balance It!
This set features 32 Balance It! quiz cards to practice several math fact skills with equations that are a mixture of addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division within 100. To play, every student receives a Balance It! quiz card. Students then pair up with a classmate to quiz each other. For example, one student has a quiz card with the equation 21 ÷ 3 = ___ – 23. The student being quizzed must find the missing number. After quizzing both ways, coaching or praising, they trade cards and set off to quiz a new classmate with their new card. The repeated practice boosts retention of the content. Memorizing important information and concepts has never been so fun! Cards can also be used for other Kagan Structures including Fan-N-Pick, RallyQuiz, and Showdown. Instructions provided.
