Comparative and Subjective Adjectives and Adverbs
This set features 32 multiple-choice Comparative and Superlative Adjectives and Adverbs quiz cards to help your students gain fluency in the selecting the correct comparative or superlative modifier. To play, every student receives a quiz card. Students then pair up with a classmate to quiz each other. For example, one student has a quiz card with the sentence: My house is ______ to the park than yours. The student being quizzed must select the correct adjective to complete the sentence: a. close, b. closer, or c. closest. After quizzing both ways, coaching or praising, they trade cards and set off to quiz a new classmate with their new card. The repeated practice boosts retention of the content. Memorizing important information and concepts has never been so fun! Cards can also be used for other Kagan Structures including Fan-N-Pick, RallyQuiz, and Showdown. Instructions provided.
