Quiz-Quiz-Trade: Vocabulary
Context Clues: Level 7
This set features 32 multiple-choice Context Clues quiz cards to teach your students how to better understand what they read and improve their vocabularies. To play, every student receives a quiz card. Students then pair up with a classmate to quiz each other. For example, one student has a quiz card with a sentence with the word “frequently” underlined. The partner must use the sentence clues to determine that the word means “often.” After quizzing both ways, coaching or praising, they trade cards and set off to quiz a new classmate with their new card. The repeated practice boosts retention of the content. Memorizing important information and concepts has never been so fun! Cards can also be used for other Kagan Structures including Fan-N-Pick, RallyQuiz, and Showdown. Instructions provided.
