This set features 32 multiple-choice Multiple Meaning Words Homographs quiz cards to master common multiple meaning words (homographs). To play, every student receives a quiz card. Students then pair up with a classmate to quiz each other. For example, one student has a quiz card with a sentence with the word “duck” underlined. The partner must use context clues in the sentence to figure out whether the homograph means “to bend down” or “a type of bird” in the sentence. After quizzing both ways, coaching or praising, they trade cards and set off to quiz a new classmate with their new card. The repeated practice boosts retention of the content. Memorizing important information and concepts has never been so fun! Cards can also be used for other Kagan Structures including Fan-N-Pick, RallyQuiz, and Showdown. Instructions provided.
