Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about letters. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “G.” The matching card gives the lower case corresponding letter, g. Every student in class receives one card with either an upper case letter or a lower case letter. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the G card and asks, “What letter is this, and what does its lower case letter look like?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with the letter n. He asks, “What letter is this, and what does its upper case letter look like?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
