Outlining is one of the, if not the, most helpful tools for writing and studying. By outlining, students examine main concepts, supporting details, and the interrelations of the learning materials. In this activity, students outline a chapter or parts of the text. Team members use their outlines to recreate a summary of the chapter or text.
