Graphing Ordered Pairs

$3.00
Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about graphing ordered pairs. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “(1,8).” The matching card has that ordered pair on a grid. Every student in class receives one card with either an ordered pair or the graph of an ordered pair, plus a grid worksheet. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the (1,8) card and asks, “Where is the ordered pair (1,8) on your grid?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with a graph of an ordered pair. He asks, “What are the coordinates of this point?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
