Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about multiplication. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “6x7=.” The matching card gives the answer to that equation, 42. Every student in class receives one card with either a multiplication problem or an answer. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the 6x7= card and asks, “What is the product of 6 and 7?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with the product of two numbers. He asks, “Thirty-five is the product of what two numbers?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
