Roman Numerals

$3.00
Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about Roman numerals. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “IV.” The matching card gives the corresponding number, 4. Every student in class receives one card with either a Roman numeral or a number. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the IV card and asks, “What number is IV?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with number 12. He asks, “How do you write twelve as a Roman numeral?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
