Food
Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about food. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “Lemon.” The matching card shows a picture of a lemon. Every student in class receives one card with either the name of a food or a picture of a food. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the Lemon card and asks, “What does a lemon look like and what food group does it belong to?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with a picture of donuts. He asks, “What food is this and what does it taste like?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
