Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about human body systems. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “Veins.” The matching card gives the body system that veins belong to, circulatory system. Every student in class receives one card with either the name of a body part or a body system. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the Veins card and asks, “What system do veins belong to?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with the skeletal system. He asks, “What body parts belong to the skeletal system?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
