Accommodations
The official hotel for Kagan’s Summer Academy is the Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista - Disney Springs® Area. Please call 407.827.4000 for all questions regarding pricing, availability, and reservations. Mention Kagan Professional Development to receive a discounted room rate of $189. Make reservations early as rooms fill quickly! Participants are responsible for their own hotel accommodations. For Summer Academy participants, there is a 50% discount for self-parking at the Hilton and a discounted resort fee.

Food & Refreshments
Morning break coffee and tea will be available to all participants. Lunch is not provided at Kagan’s Summer Academy. Here are some available food options:
• Limited lunch and snack items will be available for purchase in the bookstore area.
• The hotel offers some dining options.
• Nearby Disney Springs has dining options.
• Grocery stores and fast food are within a short drive.

Confirmations and Cancellations
Kagan e-mails workshop confirmations. If you have not received an event confirmation at least two weeks prior to the event start date, please check the spam folder in your e-mail prior to contacting Kagan to confirm your registration. Cancellations must be submitted in writing at least 24 hours before the event start time, for a full refund, less a $25 processing fee. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. If an event is canceled, registrants will be reimbursed for registration fees only. We recommend you do not purchase airline tickets until you receive a confirmation and an “Admit One” ticket from Kagan.
Bonus Materials
Bonus materials offer terrific savings on products relating to each course. Save big with these optional packages! Bonus Materials will be sent to the participants’ home or school. Limit: one Bonus Materials per participant for each course. No returns or substitutions.

At the Summer Academy, Kagan Publishing puts on its biggest display of the year. Nowhere else will you get the opportunity to see such a large selection of Kagan books, SmartCards, software, manipulatives, posters, and teacher resources. Kagan’s longtime bestsellers, as well as brand new products, are all on display for you to browse, read, try out, and purchase. Selected items are offered at substantial discounts. Purchase orders are accepted so if you’re considering purchasing for your school and district, bring your signed purchase orders!
