Body Parts

$3.00
Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about body parts. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “Heart.” The matching card gives a description of the body part: Muscular organ that received blood from the veins and pumps it through the arteries by dilation and contraction. Every student in class receives one card with either the name of a body part or the description of a body part. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the Heart card and asks, “Where is the heart located, and what is its function?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with a description of the bladder. He asks, “What body part is a bag in the pelvic cavity that holds urine flowing from the kidney?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
