Students play an interactive quizzing game to learn about famous places. This set includes matching cards. For example, one card reads, “What giant canyon is in Arizona?” The matching card says and shows a picture of the Grand Canyon. Every student in class receives one card with either the name of a famous place or a question about a famous place. Students play Quiz-Quiz-Trade with their cards. The quizzing looks like this: Students put a hand up and find a partner. In the pair, one partner has the Grand Canyon card and asks, “What do you know about the Grand Canyon?” The other partner responds. Then they quiz the other way. The other partner has a card with a question. He asks, “What is the name of the ancient Roman stadium?” His partner responds. Students trade cards and find a new partner to quiz. After many rounds of pairing and quizzing, the teacher asks students to hurry and find their partner with their matching card. The repeated quizzing with multiple classmates makes the content super memorable. Your students have so much fun that they barely realize they’re learning!
